How the calculation works
The monthly total adds recurring expenses and one twelfth of expected yearly costs. The yearly total combines twelve months of recurring expenses with the yearly amount. The per-pet figure divides the household monthly total by the number of pets.

Use this field for expenses that do not happen every month. Do not enter the same cost in both a monthly and yearly field.
